3. Dispels Internal Liver Wind and Relieves Muscle Spasms and Cramps
4. Relieves Diarrhea and Stops Bleeding
5. Hemostatic
DOSAGE
3 to 10 grams in decoction.
CAUTIONS I CONTRAINDICA TIONS
Acrid and slightly warm, Fang Feng may consume qi, yin and body fluids. Therefore, it is contraindicated for patients who have yin-deficient fire,muscle cramps and spasms because of blood deficiency, or who have conditions that do not include the presence of wind, cold, or dampness.
Since Fang Feng is ascending in nature, it should not be used in patients with headaches or dizziness due to Liver yang or Liver wind rising.
