DOSAGE
10 to 15 grams. The maximum dosage of Tian Hua Fen is 30 grams. This herb can be used in decoction or as topical powder.
CAUTIONS I CONTRAINDICA TIONS
• Cold in nature, Tian Hua Fen should be used with caution in cases of deficiency and cold of the Spleen and Stomach. • Use of Tian Hua Fen is contraindicated during pregnancy, as it may increase the risk of miscarriage.
• Concurrent use of Tian Hua Fen with Wu Tou (Radix Aconiti) or Fu Zi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Praeparata) is
contraindicated.
• Common side effects of Tian Hua Fen may include fever, headache, dermatitis, sore throat, and muscle stiffness. Rare side effects include swelling, hypotension, arrhythmia, and bleeding from the liver or spleen.
