CHINESE THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS
1. Dispels Wind and Dampness, Opens Channels and Collaterals, Relieves Pain
2. Treats Fish Bones Blocking the Throat
DOSAGE
5 to 10 grams. Use up to 30 grams of Wei Líng Xian to treat obstruction of fish bones in the throat.
CAUTIONS I CONTRAINDICATIONS
• The penetrating action of 协副 Ling Xian is so strong that it should be used with caution in women who are pregnant or in patients with generalized weakness, or who have deficiency of qiand/or blood.
• Topical application of 讥々i Ling Xian has been associated with adverse dermatological reactions such as rash, swelling, itching, and pain. 1
