DOSAGE
3 to 10 grams. Dry-frying Zhi Ke reduces its drying tendencies.
CAUTIONS I CONTRAINDICA TIONS
• Zhi Ke should be used with caution during pregnancy.
• Zhi Ke should be used with caution in cases of Spleen and Stomach deficiencies.
• Zhi Ke should be used with caution in patients who have gastric or duodenal ulcers, because the acidity of this herb may irritate the gastrointestinal tract. 1
